PillPez is a medication management hardware and software platform that helps seniors live independently by adhering to their medication regimens. The PillPez IOT dispensing device eliminates pill sorting and pill box filling, improves patient engagement, and connects patients to care from the comfort of their homes.
Action Digital worked with PillPez on nearly all aspects of their new platform. We first developed a complete brand and style guide, which we used to develop a go-to-market website. At the same time we consulted and collaborated with the client on their platform's functional strategy. Then we moved into a planning phase that identified the technical, functional and design blueprint for their entire software ecosystem. We then developed the complete digital platform, working in conjunction with their hardware manufacturer. This included the IOT device software running the hardware of the dispensing box, the web-based administration client portal and the AWS cloud platform connecting all the components together.

The end result is an integrated and cloud-based hardware and software product that helps seniors stay on their medications and out of the hospital; and which provides supporting functionality to all the user groups supporting these seniors.
